Hello folks…I wanted to alert you to a theatrical happening coming up that you should really not miss:
The lovely and talent Marci Skolnick (stage manager extraordinaire, including Boomerang’s HENRY IV PART ONE, Rock-n-Roles events, and last year’s “Legacy Reading Series”) is acting, yes acting, in two Samuel Beckett plays in an evening called A STAIN UPON THE SILENCE. Definitely check it out! Details are below…
Studio 216 Productions presents Samuel Beckett’s Footfalls and Not I in the one two-act limited engagement production A STAIN UPON THE SILENCE at the 45th Street Theatre from October 6th to October 16th.
Samuel Beckett’s one-act dramas Not I and Footfalls both illustrate his sharpest depictions of the human experience. A STAIN UPON THE SILENCE, a two-act production of Not I and Footfalls, explores two conflicted and isolated women as they struggle to express their innate and ineffable humanity.
The cast features Marci Skolnick as Mouth and May and Kathryn Kates as Woman. Jean Dobie-Giebel directs.
The 45th Street Theatre is located 354 W 45th Street (between 8th and 9th Avenues), New York NY 10036.
Tickets are $18 for general admission, $15 for students/seniors, and $10 for group of 10 or more.
